Trump decision not accepted by any Muslim country

TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – The defense ministers of Iran and Turkey held a telephone conversation on Tuesday condemning Trump's decision to move US embassy to al-Quds.

“Some regional and international powers were after breaking the ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey but thanks to Divine auspices and the will exercised by the leaders of the two countries their sinister plots were foiled,” said Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami in a telephone conversation with the Turkish Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli, on Tuesday.

The Iranian official asserted that US decision to recognize al-Quds as the capital of the “Israeli regime” as a sign proving Americans’ desperation. “It demonstrates the defeat of US in Iraq, Syria, the independence of Kurdistan, and the forced resignation of legitimate prime minister of Lebanon,” he mainmtained.

Offering congratulations on the downfall of the ISIL to the people and government of Turkey, Maj. Gen. Hatami said that the eradication of the ISIL was one of the cases that regional cooperation between Iran, Turkey, and Russia fruited good results and angered “the Zionists and Americans”.

The Turkish official, for his part in this meeting, underlined the commonalities shared by Iran and Turkey.

“The recent developments in the region has necessitated close cooperation between Iran and Turkey and no power is able to undermine friendship and brotherhood between the two nations of Iran and Turkey,” said Mr. Canikli.

Slamming Trump decision in ordering the US embassy move to al-Quds, Canikli reiterated that, “the decision is not accepted by any Muslim country in the world.”
